Our show style is known as an 'English' style which means that an exhibitor,s fish are displayed together in their own vat and not mixed with other exhibitors koi. The show is governed by the rules of the BKKS and this year (2007) we will be holding our 21st such show. Add to that several 'Closed' shows and as many 'Combined' shows (co-hosted with other sections) and you get an idea of the expertise that this section fields in this particular arena. Over the years we have made use of some of the best brains in the business to train our teams and create the processes and procedures neccessary to run a koi show of this size.
So, for those that need reminding the dates are - August 26th & 27th 2007
Every year on August Bank Holiday the South East Section hold one of the largest shows in the South of England to do just that. Bringing hobbyists from all over the country, most of the major koi dealers and some of the best fish into one place to be enjoyed by all.
We hold an Open show, which means that anybody can exhibit their koi, it is not restricted to just BKKS Section members. Futhermore, we operate a "one man - one vat" policy to ensure that more people can exhibit.
