These guidelines are recommended for show koi that have previously been starved for a minumum of three days prior to the show and travelling in oxygen.

At these rates and under the said conditions, the koi should maintain their pre boxed conditon for up to 12 hours.

For fish travelling without oxygen these packing rates should be reduced and the journey time be limited to 90 minutes.

* Based on an average of a 20cm fish, allowances should be made for larger fish.
